Jo Enright

Jo Enright

In Stitches

Jo Enright (Phoenix Nights, Ideal) has been a comic for 19 years. When she's not gigging, she's knitting. Once, she tried to do them both at the same time and made some really big holes in her material. Now she has some new material. It's very warm. And a little bit itchy.

Simon Evans

Simon Evans

Fringe Magnet

As well as a contributor to radio Simon is also a prevalent writer for television with credits including; Not Going Out (three series, BBC ONE), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), The Late Edition (BBC FOUR),The Big Breakfast (Channel 4), Lily Savage, Johnny Vaughan Tonight, The State We're In, Revolver (BBC ONE) and Would I Lie to You? (Channel 4).

A veteran of sell-out shows worldwide (Montreal, Aspen, Edinburgh, New Zealand, Cape Town), Evans excels in routines that are adult in the best sense of the word prompting reviewers to describe him as ‘Demonically dry’ (Metro) and ‘Sublime’ (The Guardian).  In 2005 Simon was honoured as one of only three British comics invited to perform at the prestigious Aspen Comedy Festival, alongside Stewart Lee and Eddie Izzard.

 Rich, complex comedy – Chortle

Intelligent, supremely well-composed. Observational comedy at it's very best - The Scotsman
