Andrew O'Neill: Occult Comedian

Chortle Award Nominee 2009

Andrew O’Neill is, quite simply, British comedy’s hottest property right now. In 2010 he has toured the world, with appearances at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and New Zealand Comedy Festivals, and the Hollywood Fringe.

Don't miss this chance to see the most exciting young comedian around.

“wholly personal, fascinating stuff, original and left-field to the point of bumping into the perimeter fence. A charming, genuine stage presence … do not leave without hearing him” The Scotsman

“probably the best actual jokes I’ve heard on the Fringe this year … his skill with language is on a par with the best of Peep Show or The Day Today” The Guardian

“O’Neill packs in more gags and info than anyone else on the circuit … I doubt you’ll find a funnier (and more thought-provoking) show – a Must-See Show” The Stage

Last Laugh Lescar Late Show

Well this is where it all started back in 1992, when Roger Monkhouse decided to run a comedy club in Hunter's Bar. So, 19 years years down the line, we're still here making folk laugh every Thursday night. The tiny room behind the Lescar has seen the biggest acts in the country from time to time, like Peter Kay, Jimmy Carr, Johnny Vegas and Al Murray. Come on down, get hot and sweaty with us, you may just be seeing a star of the future.
