Madame Zucchini’s Harvest Festival Nite
Madame Zucchini loves vegetables and wants to share that joy with you at this harvest festival time. With her theatre made out of a banana box she interprets modern culture (the Archers, Brokeback Mountain) with the help of her vegetable actors. She may even appear dressed entirely as a courgette, and slowly draw you into an oddly (courgette) shaped world.
She will be joined by other local home-grown entertainment, with a special appearance from Precious Cleaver singing a folkish tune, the Molly Rodgers and their bawdy pirate songs, comedy from Short, Back and sides, and some others if she can coax them onto the stage. There will be vegetable games too. Oh and the veg comes from Mr P’s greengrocers on South Road Walkley.
