Carey Marx
The Doom Gloom Boom
The crumbling of civility, the demise of all the animals, the destruction of beauty, the end of the human race and other hilarious subjects are all dealt with as Carey looks doom and gloom in its grumpy face.
There is one business that is booming. The business of doom and gloom. There is a boom in doom and gloom. A doom gloom boom.
And Carey has decided to become a part of it. We’re all going to die, horribly. Our race shall scream in agony as we burn. Or gurgle in agony as we drown. Goodbye silly gurgling humans.
This show is for grown ups, adults who can disagree. And it is for realists who may agree, and for depressives who may agree too much and for optimists who will cry and demand their money back.
Important things are happening. And it is time for the Jester to rise again to honour his obligation of deriding it all, of using the last dregs of free speech to propose a macabre funny toast to the greed that gorged all goodness. To the beautiful Earth, to the furry creatures, to human rights, and, finally, to the boundless doom, the oppressive gloom, ba doomy doom doom, da gloomy gloomy doomy gloomy doomy gloom gloom… BOOM BOOM.
